Job Description
Job Title: Manager Quality Assurance
Function: Quality Assurance
Job Grade: 10
Location: Srikakulam
Qualification: MSc in Science (Microbiology / Biotechnology)
Year of experience: Minimum 10 Yrs of Experience
Job Purpose:To effectively manage and lead the unit quality team to achieve the target product specifications as laid down in the Quality Manuals. Also firmly implement robust quality practices to ensure continual improvement & for products to exceed customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Compliance to Quality Manuals: Product & Packaging
- Lead the Quality Hygiene and Food Safety Agenda for the Unit.
- Act as the key point of contact for all matters of quality and food safety (both internal & external customers) handling customer complaints. Implementation & monitoring of CAPA
- Ensure compliance to all statutory requirements (Ex: Dept of Weights & Measures calibration)
- Ensure that the products meet the quality manual specifications in terms of quality and legal requirements.
- Assess product & packaging quality and report the findings to Unit Head / Head Brewer & CTC.
- Develop the unit quality systems standards and procedures in line with the Quality Manuals
- Facilitate an increase in the knowledge & use of appropriate quality tools at the unit.
- Preparation of departmental reports & submission on time to Unit team & CTC
- BAPS score: Satisfactory % > 90%
- QI difference between Unit & CTC analysis to be <10%
- Micro compliance to Quality Manuals. Ensure infection free plant.
- Ensuring requirements of the Quality System are met including internal audits and reviews
- To lead coach and develop the QA team at the unit
- Effective communication of quality standards and provide guidance on how to achieve them to unit operations team.
