Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking Orderlies to join our team. You will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure our patients have a great experience during their care.
About us
With 120 inpatient Surgical and Medical beds a rehabilitation gym 7 operating theatres 2 procedure rooms a day oncology unit and an ICU Sunnybank Private Hospital has been providing care to our local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care.
As an Orderly your responsibilities will include:
Patient Assistance and transfers including the use of lifting machine and bed movers.
Operate in line with WHS policy & procedures
Deliver excellent customer service to staff clients and patients
Cultivating a hospitable and friendly environment for all patients
Work as an active team member to support all work tasks
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
Certificate III in Health Support Services or equivalent (desired)
Experience in a hospital environment (desirable)
Working with Children check (if relevant)
Commitment to service excellence
Ability to prioritise and organise work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
High level attention to detail
Available for on call shifts
