Associate Project Procurement Manager
Aversan Inc.() is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace defence and space industries.
We are currently seeking a qualifiedAssociate Project Procurement Manager (PPM)to join our team. TheAssociate PPMwill support high-complexity bids and projects and/or manage low-complexity projects throughout the procurement lifecycle. This role is essential in planning and managing equipment procurement to streamline and secure the supply chain for assigned projects.

Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of Acquisition Procurement Plans in collaboration with the Project Manager (PPM).
Independently manage procurement planning activities for low-complexity projects and customer extensions ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Support the identification and evaluation of potential suppliers in coordination with Category Management teams to ensure competitive and compliant sourcing strategies.
Contribute to the assessment of procurement-related risks and the formulation of mitigation strategies under the guidance of the PPM.
Facilitate the issuance of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) in accordance with the Industrial Project Procurement Plan.
Oversee the execution of procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle ensuring adherence to cost schedule and risk parameters.
Coordinate with Engineering teams to ensure the timely release of technical documentation required for procurement and manufacturing activities.
Monitor and manage the procurement process to ensure timely authorization and acquisition of project equipment including spare parts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for supply chain activities on assigned projects ensuring alignment with project deliverables and timelines.
Participate in engineering change management processes to ensure that design modifications are accurately reflected in procurement documentation and that associated impacts are properly recorded and addressed.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in project management or project-based organizations
- Proficiency in SAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of project risk evaluation and mitigation planning
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and reporting capabilities
