Job Title: HCM Workday Dashboard Architect/Designer (People Analytics Architect)
Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HCM Workday Dashboard Architect with significant design experience to lead the design and optimization of data visualizations within the Workday ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who excels at transforming complex HCM data into intuitive actionable dashboards using tools like Discovery Boards Workday Prism and Report Writer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people analytics and a passion for enabling data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design of dashboards and Discovery Boards within Workday HCM including structure layout and visualization types.
- Evaluate existing reporting frameworks and recommend enhancements to improve clarity usability and strategic value.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective visual solutions.
- Determine the best-fit Workday tools (e.g. Discovery Boards vs. Dashboards vs. Prism Analytics) for different types of metrics and audiences.
- Build and maintain calculated fields composite reports and visualizations that align with organizational KPIs and compliance requirements.
- Provide guidance on data sourcing security and governance to ensure integrity and confidentiality of data.
- Stay current with Workday releases and analytics innovations to continuously improve dashboard capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Workday HCM reporting and analytics with a focus on dashboard and visualization design.
- Deep expertise in Workday Discovery Boards Dashboards Report Writer and Prism Analytics.
- Proven ability to design and conduct evaluations and make recommendations on visualization strategies and tool usage.
- Strong understanding of HCM data structures calculated fields and security roles.
- Extensive experience within People Analytics Architecture
- Experience working with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver user-friendly solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare or large enterprise environments.
