Job Description
Your day-to-day
- Responsible for test planning test creation testing a large module or a large component and designing test scenarios for a feature set of features or whole feature area
- Design and develop feature integration and regression tests using industry standard tools
- Participate in development of scalable and robust test automation frameworks and scripts
- Design end to end test scenarios to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
- Work independently and collaborate with other teams across the business/engineering
- Lead software quality engineering discussions in a detailed manner and mentors other quality engineers.
- Other duties as assigned
About You
- 5 years of strong programming and scripting experience (Javascript/Typescript/Java preferred)
- 3 years of experience in developing test framework (from scratch preferred)
- 5 years of experience in designing test scenarios for end to end feature testing
- 5 years of experience in developing Test Strategy/ Test Plan and other related testing artifacts
- 5 years of experience in API driven Backend testing (in microservice based architecture preferred)
- Prior experience in integrating testing artifacts with CI/CD pipeline (Gitlab/Github/Jenkins/Docker/Kubernetes)
- Able to work under minimal supervision and quick to adopt new technologies
- Shares knowledge power and credit establishing trust credibility and goodwill
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity
- Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
