Job Description
Join Our Team as a Mid-Level Accountant Garment IO is seeking a detail-oriented Mid-Level Accountant to support our financial operations. In this role youll prepare financial statements analyze budgets manage reconciliations and work closely with teams to improve processes and compliance.

Responsibility
- Prepare review and post journal entries ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Perform monthly quarterly and annual closings in coordination with the finance team.
- Reconcile bank accounts vendor statements and Intercompany balances.
- Monitor and report on accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Handle fixed asset management depreciation schedules and related entries.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements cash flow projections and variance analysis.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records in compliance with audit and tax requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial records
- Support budgeting and forecasting efforts alongside the finance team.
- Support external audits by preparing required documents and schedules.
- Ensure VAT withholding tax and other financial compliance filings are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably in technology sectors.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Zoho Odoo) and Google sheets.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail analytical thinking and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Very Good command of English and Arabic.
