Job Description
Our Client is a fast-growing international real estate investor developer and asset operator with a strong and growing footprint across Central and Eastern Europe. Specializing in industrial and logistics properties the company delivers large-scale developments for global and regional occupiers combining long-term ownership with full in-house project execution. Due to a strong local pipeline and expanding operational portfolio the company is now enhancing its procurement function in Bulgaria and is seeking a structured commercially-minded professional for the position of:
Senior Procurement Manager
BG/2506/SRPM
/Sofia-based/
Role Overview:
The Senior Procurement Manager will lead end-to-end procurement activities across both development and operational spending categories. This role ensures full alignment with group-level sourcing strategy supports ongoing construction and FM projects and contributes directly to cost optimization and process excellence across the local portfolio. It offers a rare opportunity to influence procurement processes in a company with long-term ownership integrated construction delivery and international scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement & Process Management
- Design and implement procurement strategies for CAPEX and OPEX categories
- Ensure full compliance with group procurement standards local legal regulations and internal controls
- Lead procurement planning in collaboration with technical and project teams
- Supplier Sourcing & Performance
- Source qualify and manage suppliers and subcontractors for construction and property services
- Leading a reliable long-term partnerships with strategic vendors
- Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements
- Tendering Contracting & Value Engineering
- Coordinate tenders and competitive bidding processes
- Negotiate terms and pricing ensuring favorable commercial and legal conditions
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering and market benchmarking
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation reports and KPI dashboards
- Collaborate daily with project managers engineers site teams legal and group procurement functions
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with reliable procurement data
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing with at least 3 in a leadership role
- Background in construction industrial development or infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and e-sourcing tools
- Fluent in Bulgarian and English (written and spoken)
- Proactive mindset structured approach and strong attention to detail
