The Opportunity
A SCM maintains strong business relationships with Maersks strategic clients. SCMs offer transportation and logistics solutions that add value to the clients business while managing client expectations and delivering positive results to Maersk.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Industry diplomas or certificates (i.e. CIFFA or CITT) would be preferred but is not required
Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding or supply chain/ logistics or shipping industries
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; results and details oriented personality; organizational skills
Advanced computer literacy and ability to efficiently operate standard office equipment
Good communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills are required; ability to work under pressure; team player
Ability to work under pressure and provide guidance to staff
Strong problem solving skills
PC skills (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Technical Skills and Competencies Required
Ability to make decisions in the absence of management
Excellent communication skills
Excellent conflict resolution and problem solving skills
A well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
Ability to train coach evaluate and mentor
Strong and current knowledge of technology platforms MS Office products and ability to quickly adapt to new software

Benefits:
Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance Paid Time Off and 401k Match.
The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
