Job Description

We are looking for Assistant Directors - Early Childhood Education for 2 of our Centers in Texas City!

A well-established early childhood education center in Texas is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director to support daily operations and mentor teachers. This role requires expertise in Procare NCI the food program and Texas Rising Star (TRS) compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a dedication to quality education regulatory compliance and teamwork.

Raising Stars Academy -th Avenue North Texas City Texas 77591

Raising Stars Stem Center - 9300 Emmett F Lowry Expy # 70 Texas City TX 77591

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teacher Mentorship - Guide and support educators to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
  • Daily Operations Management - Oversee Procare NCI food program compliance and TRS standards.
  • Parent and Family Engagement - Build strong relationships with families and foster open communication.
  • Regulatory Compliance - Maintain state licensing standards and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Shared Closing Responsibilities - Rotate closing duties with the Center Director to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of leadership experience in early childhood education (Assistant Director or similar role preferred).
  • Proficiency in Procare NCI food program management and TRS guidelines.
  • Strong leadership problem-solving and communication skills with a customer service mindset.
  • Flexibility and dependability willing to adapt to center needs.
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred but not required.
