Whats the role
The Executive Manager position will require a detail oriented professional to support the Invoice Finance and Trade Finance portfolios. This role will collaborate with Distribution and Credit Underwriting teams to assess new lending proposals ensuring they meet our risk and compliance standards.
The Executive Manager will also provide expert recommendations on credit applications oversee pre-settlement audits and manage recovery activities for high-risk exposures. The professional insights provided by the Executive Manager will help maintain portfolio quality and minimise financial and reputational risk.
Finally this role will support watch listed accounts review annual client assessments and work closely with stakeholders across Credit Distribution and Operations.
What do I need
- Strategic Portfolio Oversight: Lead and manage the overall strategy and performance of Invoice Finance and Trade Finance portfolios ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk appetite.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth and cross-sell.
- Risk and Compliance Governance: Oversee credit risk assessments regulatory compliance and operational controls across both portfolios ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
- Product Development and Innovation: Drive the evolution of finance products by identifying market trends customer needs and technological advancements to enhance competitiveness and value proposition.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead cross-functional teams fostering a high-performance culture mentoring senior staff and ensuring capability development across the portfolio teams.
- Financial Performance and Reporting: Monitor and report on portfolio performance metrics including revenue margin and risk adjusted returns providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Proven leadership in driving organisational change initiatives including strategy development stakeholder engagement risk mitigation and embedding change across multiple business units to achieve measurable outcomes.
