Job Description

Administrative Position Announcement

Middle School Athletic Director/ High School Assistant Athletic Director

Kokomo High School

Length of Contract: 220 Days

Salary Range: Commensurate with Training and Experience

Benefits: Group Insurance Programs; TERF; Paid Leave Days

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the administration of the overall program of extracurricular and interscholastic athletics in accordance with IHSAA rules
  • Responsible for general supervision and discipline of students and staff
  • Effectively support and evaluate staff
  • Provide educational leadership for the school
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining a positive school climate and a school environment conducive to high academic achievement and appropriate social growth

Qualifications:

  • Building Principal or Administrator License preferred
  • Teaching and coaching experience
  • Experience working with middle school and high school age students
