Rabobanks Technology Engineering Security Team is on the front line of cyber defence - designing & implementing controls that protect our systems & data. This collaborative team covers Security Architecture Vulnerability Management Security Testing & Red Teaming. The team is now looking for aSecurity Architect in Sydneyto help shape & strengthen our security posture.
As Security Architect will play an integral role in defining & assessing the banks security architecture & practices. You will effectively translate business objectives & risk management strategies into specific security processes enabled by security technologies & services. Furthermore you will be responsible for ensuring that the bank is enhancing its security architecture cyber defences & capabilities for key technology systems & assets. You will be involved in monitoring & developing a program of work to design implement & enhance cyber security capabilities.
In addition you will:
- Develop & maintain security architecture processes that enable the bank to develop & implement security solutions & capabilities aligned with global/local Business & Technology strategies
- Develop align & maintain security strategy plans & roadmaps in partnership with the Head of Engineering Security
- Develop & maintain security architecture artefacts (e.g. patterns models templates standards & procedures) for use in projects & operations
- Determine baseline security configuration standards for operating systems (e.g. OS hardening IAM network segmentation)
- Stay ahead of emerging threats & industry best practices guiding teams on improvements
- Actively contribute to the Architecture Working Group & strategic decision-making
- Be available during critical incidents to support crisis response & recovery
- Step in for the Head of Engineering Security when needed helping lead the broader security function
To be successful you will have:
- 10 years experience in Information Security including 5 years in Security Architecture within financial services
- Strong understanding of infrastructure & application security including web mobile APIs & cloud technologies
- Experience dealing with compliance & regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication skills - verbal written & interpersonal
- Experience with threat assessment & remediation
- Understanding of industry best practice security standards e.g. ISO27001 NIST PCI-DSS
- Good understanding & implementation experience with the Zero-Trust security model
- Qualifications in one or more of the following: CISSP CISM Azure Well-Architected Framework TOGAF SABSA ISO & NIST
