Mission Context

Seeking a skilled Security Engineer (BISO Engineer) to join the IT Production Security department. This team ensures that security is deeply embedded in the banks culture processes and digital transformation initiatives. As part of the Agile Impulse organization the Security Tribe provides best-in-class security capabilities to enable innovation and maintain customer trust.

The BISO team (Business Information Security Office) plays a pivotal role in implementing IT Information Security & Risk (IS&R) processes and standards.

Function Description

As a BISO Engineer you will:

Support the implementation of IT Information Security & Risk (IS&R) practices.
Coordinate IS&R awareness initiatives within IT.
Collaborate with IT squads to ensure alignment with security principles (secure by design).
Build strong relationships across IT to monitor control and report on access rights.
Report directly to the IT BISO.
Monitor and escalate IT security and risk issues across squads proposing corrective actions.
Act as the coordination point to ensure completeness of application referentials for IT-owned information assets.
Document procedures and processes related to information security.
Monitor and report on recurrent security tasks including:
- Control plan execution
- Patch management dashboard
- Security configurations
- Internal quality control execution
- Exception management (logical accesses)

Required Knowledge & Experience

Education & Experience

Minimum 3 years professional experience in a transversal security or IT role.
Strong interest in or experience with the BISO domain.
Excellent command of English (Dutch/French is a strong plus).

Technical Knowledge

Solid understanding of technology landscapes: infrastructure OS hardware networks and processes.
Knowledge of IS&R processes and risk awareness practices.
Familiarity with incident management and stakeholder management.

Preferred Experience (a plus)

Business intelligence and reporting.
Microsoft Office tools particularly VBA.
Microsoft Power Apps.
Microsoft Visio.
Experience in continuous improvement and automation.
