Anti-Illicit Trade Operations Manager
In this role you will lead and execute anti-illicit trade initiatives in key markets. You will manage investigations liaise with law enforcement and government agencies and support internal stakeholders with actionable intelligence. Your work will directly support both operational success and JTIs global advocacy efforts against illegal trade.
Position:
As an Anti-Illicit Trade Operations Manager you will:
Identify recruit and manage Service Providers (SPs) to conduct targeted investigations aligned with legal and internal compliance standards.
Build and maintain relationships with national and international law enforcement and government agencies to support anti-illicit trade initiatives.
Prepare and present intelligence and investigative reports analyze illegal trade trends and communicate findings internally and externally.
Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Sales Legal QA IP and others to align on strategic priorities.
Manage project budgets effectively ensure compliance with financial controls and travel as required to support operations in other markets.
Requirements:
University degree in Business Economics Law Criminal Justice or a related field preferred.
Experience managing investigations in law enforcement legal services or corporate environments; experience working with intelligence or enforcement agencies is an advantage.
Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
Strong report writing and presentation skills.
Strong investigative analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Good computer skills (especially Microsoft Office proficiency).
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments cultures and with external stakeholders.
