Job Description
Position Summary:
The Oracle Project Accounting Functional Analyst provides end-user support related to Oracle Ebs Projects applications. He/She supports Projects processes during implementations projects as well as business as usual activities. He/She analyzes business requirements and system enhancements prepares functional and technical specifications solves issues and identifies their root causes to prevent them in future.
Key Duties
-support Projects applications end-user
-analyze and solve problems related to Oracle Ebs Projects applications
-lead or participate in root cause analysis / corrective action for critical issues and incidents
-lead the development and the deployment of Oracle Ebs Projects applications particularly in the designing building testing implementation and stabilization.
-develop test plans to ensure proper system functionality and defects free release and meet business requirements. Maintain systems to ensure reliability and performance.
-deploy system enhancements service requests (change requests) ensuring solution is scalable and meets overall business requirements and identify/document functional gaps maintaining documentation for changes made to system
-collaborate with the Project Management Office to estimate the delivery timelines estimate resourcing needs and identify risks & issues upfront
-cooperate with colleagues on other team in order to design harmonized solutions
-conduct ongoing quality reviews and analysis of data in Projects area; identifies data quality issues and escalates for corrective actions
-work effectively with remote team members outsourced resources and users to complete tasks.
School Background / Working Seniority
5 years of experience developing with Oracle Ebs Release 12.2
Bachelors degree or equivalent
International experience
Experience in an international System Integrator company is a plus
Basic Skills
Strong English language skills
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
Analytical and Problem-solving skills are required
Technical / Functional skills
Deep experience with Oracle Ebs Release 12.2 specifically in:
oOracle Projects
oOracle Projects Billing
Experience with Oracle Order Management is a plus
Experience with PL/SQL
Experience creating Functional Requirement Documentation and Test Script
Excellent Communication and Teamwork skills
Process Discipline and Documentation skills essential
Ready to move beyond own area of comfort
Ability to be adaptable and flexible while responding to deadlines on assignments and workflow fluctuations
