Job Description
Manages operations of the hospital Med/Surg Units including planning organizing implementing and evaluating activities. Ensures effective and efficient operation of unit while maintaining focus on 100% patient centered care and overseeing day-to-day clinical operations. Manages staffing departmental processes and develops policies and procedures. Maintains presence on unit to ensure all patient and staff needs are met and clinical quality and patient satisfaction standards are maintained and exceeded. Coaches and facilitates patient work teams to perform multifunctional patient care duties. Develops positive working relationships with physicians and supporting clinical departments.
