Nurse Practitioner/Hospitalist Permanent Role - Location: Dallas TX 75246

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Essential Functions: - Perform comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories.
- Order collect interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results to determine patient health status and needs.
- Prescribe and manage drug therapies or other therapeutic treatments and perform procedures in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Develop and implement evidence-based outcomes-driven treatment plans in coordination with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions treatment plans and preventive measures.
- Recommend interventions to reduce health risks and promote positive health behaviors.

- Proficient in interpreting diagnostic tests and using clinical tools.

Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of NP experience (New graduates welcome).
Licensure & Certifications: - Nurse Practitioner (NP)-Active license to practice in the state of Texas.
- Registered Nurse (RN)-Texas RN license or compact state RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS)-Must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Board Certification: Certified by an accredited board as an APRN for the appropriate patient population.
