Job Description

Nurse Practitioner/Hospitalist Permanent Role
  • Location: Dallas TX 75246
  • Shift: Day
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
  • Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions:
  • Perform comprehensive or problem-focused physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories.
  • Order collect interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results to determine patient health status and needs.
  • Prescribe and manage drug therapies or other therapeutic treatments and perform procedures in accordance with clinical protocols.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based outcomes-driven treatment plans in coordination with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide patient and family education on health conditions treatment plans and preventive measures.
  • Recommend interventions to reduce health risks and promote positive health behaviors.
Key Success Factors:
  • Strong knowledge of diagnosis treatment and management of physical and mental health conditions.
  • Proficient in interpreting diagnostic tests and using clinical tools.
  • Excellent communication critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop individualized care plans and provide counseling.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to use EMR and healthcare software.
  • Team player with a commitment to continuous learning and quality care.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of NP experience (New graduates welcome).
Licensure & Certifications:
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP)-Active license to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Registered Nurse (RN)-Texas RN license or compact state RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)-Must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Board Certification: Certified by an accredited board as an APRN for the appropriate patient population.
