A leading fintech platform is expanding its engineering team in Thailand and is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer (). Youll play a critical role in building scalable backend services APIs and data-driven systems that support millions of users across Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality backend systems using and modern frameworks.
- Ensure production stability and resolve critical issues to minimize downtime.
- Analyze existing codebases and propose improvements for performance and scalability.
- Support change requests from cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Review peer pull requests and enforce best coding practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and guide them on development standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering IT or related field.
- 3 years of backend engineering experience.
- Proficiency in and related frameworks (NestJS ExpressJS GraphQL etc.).
- Strong knowledge of databases such as MongoDB and MySQL.
- Experience with automation workflows (Selenium Cypress Puppeteer etc.).
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals algorithms and data structures.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have
- Portfolio or relevant projects showcasing backend expertise.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS GCP) and Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with TDD/BDD practices.
- Experience writing clear technical documentation.
