AUTOMOTIVE WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR

Job Summary
The responsibilities of a Warranty Clerk include tracking warranty claims processing returns and investigating product issues. We are looking for someone who excels at multi-tasking and can thrive in the fast-paced environment of our warranty department.

Responsibilities
- Processing all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and verify the criteria required by the factory or distributor
- Assisting with body shop warranty claims and following up on outstanding claims
- Reconciling all warranty receivables and collaborating with the accounting department to secure payments
- Tracking all warranty parts by noting the repair order number the date of replacement and the date on which the part may be disposed of
- Maintaining all service and customer records as required
- Staying updated on all factory recalls and announcements
- Work closely with a team of technicians service writers and supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year or more of automotive warranty clerk experience required
- Experience with automotive parts (identification inspection classification of component groups etc.)
- Overall automotive vehicle knowledge
- Strong computer skills and familiar with parts/inventory systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
