Job Description

Were hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer. In this role youll design structural components primarily fabricated from laser-cut and bent sheet metal and tubing using Creo or a similar CAD platform. This is a hands-on design role working closely with other engineers and manufacturing.

Duties:Including but not limited to:

Design complex steel structures using 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) Create detailed drawings for laser-cut and bent sheet metal and tubular assemblies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and performance Apply GD&T standards to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage design data using systems like Windchill or similar Support design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives Basic FEA experience is a plus but not required

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience Proficiency with Creo or similar 3D CAD software Experience with structural design using steel sheet metal and tubing Familiarity with PDM systems like Windchill Understanding of GD&T weld symbols and fabrication best practices Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
