Job Summary
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems including pumps compressors valves piping and rotating equipment.
Lead and guide junior technicians in troubleshooting repairing and overhauling mechanical assemblies.
Install align and commission new mechanical systems and equipment for fire and safety applications (e.g. fire pumps sprinkler piping hydrant systems).
Conduct mechanical testing inspection and calibration of fire water and HVAC systems
Diagnose mechanical faults and determine corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Ensure adherence to safe working practices lockout-tagout (LOTO) and company HSE policies.
Prepare and maintain maintenance records service reports and spare parts usage logs in line with maintenance schedules.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade qualification.
Experience: Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance preferably in fire protection systems HVAC or industrial maintenance.
Preferred Industry Exposure: Fire & Security systems Oil & Gas
Required Skills:
