Job Description
Pay Grade: L
Role and Responsibilities:Manages staff through coordinating and planning.
Evaluates the level of risk to clients and takes appropriate action to ensure safety.
Monitors and organizes work to ensure quality and adherence.
Reviews approves/disapproves and/or renders decisions.
Maintains and shares knowledge.
- Ensures accurate timely records and reports.
Core Competencies:
- Ability to work effectively with personnel at multiple levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment while effectively and accurately managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Ability to develop and make presentations on behalf of the organization.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction.
- Excellent oral written presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite DAS Data Systems etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university ANDthree (3) years case management experience;
OR- Two (2) years of experience at lower level Adult Protective Services Case Manager 3 (SSP172) or position equivalent.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications: : Preference will be given to candidates who in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications demonstrate some or all the following education/skills/experience:
- At least 2 years experience in Adult Protective Services.
- Experience working with a specific issue facing client populations such as family violence crisis intervention substance abuse services to the elderly or disabled.
- Bachelors degree in a Human Services program.
- Possession of a valid drivers license and consistent access to a vehicle for required work-related activities.
