Atrium Hospitality is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to lead maintenance and facilities operations at the prestigious Chateau on the Lake Resort in Branson Missouri. Perched above the breathtaking Table Rock Lake and surrounded by the scenic beauty of the Ozark Mountains this Four Diamond resort provides an outstanding opportunity to advance your career in an extraordinary environment.
This premier property features 301 well-appointed guest rooms and over 53000 square feet of versatile event space including an impressive 32000-square-foot Great Hall 19 refined meeting and banquet rooms and three executive boardrooms. Whether supporting large conferences or luxury getaways youll play a key role in maintaining the resorts high standards of comfort safety and performance.
Salary Range: 85k-95k
The primary purpose of the Chief Engineer is to ensure guests have an excellent experience through managing the engineering department and supervising maintenance operations while exhibiting leadership integrity initiative composure decision making skills flexibility and adaptability in relation to business needs and crisis.
The Chief Engineer will be tasked with the following duties responsibilities and assignments:
Leaddevelop and traina diverse and effective team in accordance with Atrium Core Values;
Manageengineering associatesby ensuringtheyunderstand employment practices recommending employment decisions and corrective action supporting performance management and implementing discipline;
Maintain an adequate inventory of parts and supplies;
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems and other equipment throughout the hotel;
Participatein the development of the engineering and Capital budgetwhich at times involvesstrategic agility and sound planning capability;
Creatework scheduleswhilemanaging and measuring departmental needs andproductivity;
Oversee preventative maintenance assignmentsand the execution of Capital projects in partnership with the Atriumcapital team;
Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Lock Out/Tag Out proceduresand all relevant Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards;
Track guest room requests for servicing and ensuring completion;
Serve asthe head of the propertys loss prevention and risk management programs managing the hotel loss prevention committees and ensuring all life safety systems are code compliant with the brand and the authority having jurisdiction (i.e. Fire Marshall Building Inspector etc.);
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to management;and
Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position
