Job Description
Job Title : Data Engineer
Location: Bentonville AR/Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months
As a Data Engineer specializing in Data & Analytics you will play a crucial role in designing developing and implementing geospatial solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
Your expertise in GCP and Scala will be pivotal in optimizing data processes and enhancing cloud-based applications.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
Experience : 8 - 12 years

Responsibilities : - Develop and implement geospatial applications using Java and GCP technologies to enhance data processing capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions that meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency.
Utilize GCP Dataprep and Dataflow to streamline data preparation and processing workflows ensuring high-quality outputs.
Optimize cloud-based applications using GCP Cloud SQL and Cloud Storage to ensure robust data management and accessibility.
Implement continuous integration and deployment processes using GCP Cloud Build to maintain seamless application updates.
Leverage PySpark and Spark in Scala to perform advanced data analytics and derive actionable insights from large datasets. -
Ensure the scalability and reliability of geospatial applications by applying best practices in software development and cloud computing.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to guarantee optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Monitor and evaluate application performance implementing improvements to enhance functionality and user experience.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in geospatial technologies and cloud computing to drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development of documentation and training materials to support application users and stakeholders.
Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated expertise in GCP Dataprep Dataflow Cloud SQL Cloud Storage and Cloud Build showcasing proficiency in cloud-based solutions.
Strong experience in PySpark and Spark in Scala highlighting ability to perform complex data analytics and processing tasks.
Proficiency in Java programming emphasizing capability to develop robust and efficient geospatial applications.
Familiarity with hybrid work models ensuring adaptability to both remote and in-office environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills showcasing ability to address technical challenges and optimize application performance.
Effective communication skills facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
