Job Description

As the Marketplace Platform Associate Manager youll support both the internal and external marketplaces. You will be responsible for defining and establishing a significant number of new processes to properly monitor and maintain the health of the platform. You will work closely with external and internal partners including technology and other internal cross functional teams. This role requires the ability to think strategically while being able to execute tactical operational and business improvements.

This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What youll do

  • Utilize knowledge of external platforms as well as operational processes quickly remediate any marketplace/seller issues with appropriate parties
  • Maintain configuration/setup of marketplaces adjusting as needed to support changes to drive the business
  • Responsible for monitoring marketplace transactions to ensure proper processing of orders and timely support for incidents created by customers/sellers
  • Triage any identified issues with respective Best Buy operational/technical teams to drive timely resolution
  • Oversee quality assurance of marketplace including reviewing seller performance against agreed upon service agreements and working with respective account managers to performance manage as necessary
  • Monitor overall health of the marketplace experience ensuring Best Buy appropriately balances driving scale while upholding the desired customer experience making recommendations to implement improvements where needed
Basic qualifications
  • 4 years of marketplace eCommerce order management or account managementexperience
  • 2 years of experience with data analysis with an eye toward problem solving and optimization
  • 2 years of experience communicating and managing vendors/3rd party
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred qualifications
  • 2 years of experience working with technical teams product or engineering
  • 2 years of marketplace seller or operator experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
