Were on the hunt for an experienced dynamic Venue Manager to take the reins at Garden State Hotel our sprawling multi-level wonderland in the heart of Melbourne.
This bespoke high-capacity venue is an institution of Melbournes hospitality scene known for its grand tiered Beer Garden award-winning Tippy Tay restaurant and the Rose Garden Cocktail Bar. Its a dynamic high-energy environment that needs a leader who thrives on complexity precision and pace.
Were looking for someone whos walked the walk someone with proven experience running large fast-paced venues with multiple offerings. Youll lead the day-to-day drive service and performance standards and develop a strong high-functioning management team beneath you.
Whats on Offer:
- Generous Salary $115000 - $120000 Super
- Quarterly KPI Bonus - $44000 P/A

Essential requirements:
- 4 years of Venue Management experience
- Experience working in an entertainment-focused venue
- Extensive food & beverage product knowledge
- Experience in a high-turnover customer service environment
- Proven capacity to manage large teams
- Demonstrated experience in business development and strategic hospitality management
- Demonstrated team and leadership skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn and change
- Have a market awareness and trend analysis relevant to food and beverage in the area & industry
- Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
- State-based qualifications RSA
