Job Description
Nestling at the foot of the Mountains of Mourne the magnificent Slieve Donard Resort and Spa stands in six acres of immaculate private grounds. A golden strand of beach borders one side while the mighty Royal County Down golf course frames the other. This lovingly maintained Victorian hotel is home to one of Europes finest resort Spas and is perfect for a short break residential conference or grand event. Position Statement:
As Leisure Attendant you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring public areas back of house and service areas of the Spa are clean and presentable at all times.
- Ensuring all areas of the Spa are fully stocked.
- Preparing and replenishing all Spa and Leisure facilities as required.
- Ensuring the pool deck is maintained at all times including daily testing and sampling.
- Attending to the male changing facilities regularly throughout the day while in use to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the facilities are maintained.
- Ensuring exceptional guest service is provided in accordance with our brand standards and 5 star Espa service requirements.
- Complying with all health safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Ensuring all guest enquires are handled efficiently and effectively.
Essential Criteria
- A minimum of 6 months previous experience in a guest focused role.
- A proven ability to interact with guests and service users in a positive and professional manor.
- High standards of attention to detail and personal presentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Proven ability to demonstrate a passion to deliver excellent customer service.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience working within Spa or Leisure facilities
- Knowledge and/or experience of the inner workings of the plant room operation within leisure facilities
