The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Associate Safety Specialist to join the team in Renton WA.
The 737 Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team is looking for a Safety Specialist to provide support for the 737-production system. As part of the EHS team you will support health and safety initiatives projects and compliance providing influence and decision making throughout the site.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports the planning implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes
Drafts health and safety programs that provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance
Investigates safety and health incidents and complaints
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene Occupational Safety Toxicology Bio-Engineering Public Health etc.)
1 years of experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
Project Management experience
