Location: Remote (with occasional travel to San Francisco CA)

Overview:
Delta Dental is seeking an experienced Azure AI Engineer to design develop and deploy AI solutions that enhance business processes and drive innovation. This role involves hands-on automation using Azure AI services and may require travel to the San Francisco office for project milestones.

Position: Contractor (6 12 Months)

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement AI-driven solutions using Azure AI services

• Automate business processes through intelligent AI workflows

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable AI solutions

• Integrate AI services such as Azure AI Vision Document Intelligence and OpenAI into cloud applications

• Participate in code reviews architecture planning and team meetings

• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer

Requirement Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

• Proven experience in a similar Azure AI role

• Proficiency with Azure AI services (Document Intelligence Vision Language Translator OpenAI)

• Programming experience in Python C# or Java

• Experience with ML frameworks and libraries

• Understanding of Azure infrastructure and cloud computing

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure certifications (e.g. Azure AI Engineer Associate Azure Solutions Architect)

• DevOps experience and familiarity with CI/CD tools

• Background in data science or data engineering

• Experience with NLP and computer vision technologies

Additional Information:

• Travel: Occasional (client-covered trips to San Francisco office)
