Job Description
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency reduce costs and enhance product quality.
- Create detailed production routings including sequencing of operations resource allocation and time estimates.
- Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing ensuring smooth transition and successful production ramp-up.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineering procurement and quality assurance to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Design and document work instructions standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process guidelines for manufacturing personnel.
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends root causes of issues and areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address process deviations non-conformities and quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements and adhere to relevant regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel to ensure proper execution of production processes.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing process design and optimization preferably in a highly regulated industry.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in developing work instructions SOPs and process documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address manufacturing challenges.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Fluent English in both writing and speaking
