Job Description
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with project managers architects and engineers to review project plans and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress quality of work and adherence to safety protocols (OSHA standards).
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and construction documents to guide project execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Prepare construction estimates and budgets ensuring accurate forecasting of project costs.
- Implement effective communication strategies among team members to facilitate smooth operations on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction processes is a plus.
- Excellent skills in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
