Full-time Logistics Location Elizabethtown PA
Provides direction leadership and management for Elizabethtown Distribution center including creation and execution of operational processes to meet business objectives and goals. Collaborating with leaders across the organization to meet distribution and customer expectations.
Youll deliver short and long-term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
Oversee performance data and ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to receiving packaging and shipping.
Ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
Determines work procedures prepares and expedites workflow assigns duties and examines work for exactness neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
Make staffing and task assignments to support workflow and productivity.
Monitor operational flow to identify and address bottlenecks or issues.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all inbound and outbound activities.
Were looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution performing a substantially similar role
A minimum of 3 years of work experience in supervising selecting coaching mentoring and training staff
Proficiency in Excel including the ability to create and manage complex data files.
Familiarity with Korber or similar warehouse management systems is a plus but not required.
Experience and/or training in identifying developing and reporting operations/distribution-related metrics
Skilled at using data to drive team performance and accountability.
Background in cost improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent form two-year college or technical school (Preferred)
Experience with 5S principles and workplace organization strategies. (Preferred)
Demonstrates the ability to lead motivate and engage teams effectively.
