We are hiring for a Marketing and Development Assistant. This is an entry-level position requiring the skills and knowledge to assist in marketing activities event planning and community relations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with public advocacy social media marketing and organization communication.

What will my day-to-day responsibilities look like
As a Marketing and Development Assistant in this role you will:
Support Marketing and Communications: Assist with creating and scheduling content for newsletters brochures social media and website updates to promote organizational awareness and engagement.
Contribute to Development Efforts: Participate in the creation and execution of the annual development plan support fundraising events and serve on related committees.
Engage in Outreach and Advocacy: Represent the organization at networking and community events to build relationships and support nonprofit advocacy initiatives.
Collaborate Across Teams: Travel and coordinate with various divisions to support a unified outreach and marketing strategy including contributing to photography needs.
Provide Administrative Support: Handle general administrative tasks and fulfill additional duties as assigned to support department goals.
What do I need to be successful in this position
Associate or bachelors degree in communications public relations marketing or closely related field from an accredited college or university. **At least one year of entry level experience required.
Knowledge of and an advocate for persons programs and services for individuals with mental /developmental disabilities.
Knowledge of the Greater Ozarks Community is desirable but not essential.
Training or experience in public relations community relations fund-raising or agency development.
Experience with social media platforms and management of multiple social media pages.
Graphic design experience required (Adobe Creative Suite).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES Training or experience in public relations community relations fund-raising or agency development. Flexible schedule required.
