Provides leadership and oversight for a school districts student support programs ensuring students well-being and academic success.This role involves developing implementing and coordinating services like CTE CCMR mental health attendance polices and disciplinary procedures.The director also collaborates with various stakeholders including staff parents and community agencies to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Education/Certification:
Masters degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Texas administrative certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of the state testing program and accountability system
Ability to overseeCareer and Technology Education
Ability to overseeCollege Career and Military Readiness
Ability to direct plan and evaluate student services programs
Ability to use student test data systems
Ability todevelop and implement policies and procedures for student support services
Ability to use personal computer and software programs to collect report and present data and test-related information
Ability tobuild strong relationships with school administrators teachers parents and community
Ability to oversee programs designed to promote student well-being including mental health support
Ability to implement polices and procedures related to student conduct discipline and safety
Ensuring compliance with attendance polices
Excellent organizational communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
