Job Description

Job Title:Principal Electrical Engineer (Power Systems)

Position Type: Direct hire (US Citizenship Required)

Position Location: Sterling VA

Description:

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to support the design and development of advanced space-grade power systems. Our clients Modular Power System (MPS) requires strong technical experience in digital analog and power electronic design. Youll be involved in the entire product lifecycle from requirements development through preliminary design critical design prototype test and production.

Background:

  • BSEE or related Engineering Degree and at least 7 years of professional experience (degree can be substituted for applicable years)
  • Understanding of power electrical design and independently troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues.
  • Experience with digital high-speed circuit design including schematic and PCB layout
  • PCB Design: (Cadence/Altium)
  • CAD Design: (OrCAD/Allegro/Altium)
  • Firmware Design: (VHDL/Verilog)
  • Aviation and Aerospace industry experience and/or experience designing products for operation in-space or radiation environments
