Full Stack / DeFi Engineer
Location: San Francisco (remote work options available)
Type: Full-time
About the Role:
We re partnering with an early-stage startup building infrastructure at the intersection of blockchain finance and energy systems. They are looking for a full stack engineer who also brings strong experience in Solidity and smart contract development.
In this role you ll help design and build web applications backend systems and blockchain integrations to support the company s protocol and investment tools. You ll be working closely with technical leadership and will have the chance to shape both the codebase and the product itself.
What Youll Do:

Develop and maintain full stack systems (React Python Solidity)

Design and deploy EVM-compatible smart contracts

Collaborate with a small team to architect scalable secure infrastructure

Stay current on Web3 best practices and emerging tools

Work directly with the CTO and contribute to product strategy
What Were Looking For:
Must-Have:
-
3 years of hands-on experience with Solidity and DeFi protocols
-
3 years building and maintaining production-level web applications
-
Strong experience with Python or another backend language

Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects

Comfortable using AI development tools like Cursor
Nice to Have:
-
Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)

Experience at a DeFi protocol or crypto exchange

Experience with frameworks like or Django
