These efforts are monitored and assessed regularly to ensure accountability to all Summary:Lawrence Public Schools seeks a Manager for the Department of Curriculum & Instruction to support operations within the department and the special projects of the Departments leadership team. A successful Manager will have strong attention to detail experience using data to inform decision making and be a strong project manager who is passionate about providing excellent programming for students and educators in Duties & Responsibilities: Develop project plans and schedules and ensure that they are communicated to and understood by all stakeholders. Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Track outcome data and survey stakeholders to continuously improve programming; prepare reports and presentations Manage and track local and grant budgets and run fiscal reports from MUNIS Oversee maintain and monitor consultant/vendor contracts and relationships including the process of registering new vendors with the District Manage the preparation of requisitions and track purchase orders order fulfillment and payment processes in MUNIS software. Manage payroll for a limited number of employees and one time payment to staff Execute and improve upon department wide administrative and organization systems. Run reports in Power School to extract data for the Curriculum & Instruction team Create track and award educator professional development credits using Teach Point. Support onboarding new staff. Manage and evaluate administrative assistant staff member(s). Any other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Curriculum and Skills & Abilities: Skills & Competencies Proficiency in Google Drive and Excel (GoogleSheets) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills and an ability interact with a diverse constituency Analytical and time management skills and experience Skilled at participating in cross-functional teams and collaborating to find creative solutions.
