Job Description
Own the People Function at a Growing Business in Burgess Hill
Voltix Services a thriving business with a tight-knit team of 20 is looking for a driven and experienced Head of Talent and Recruitment to lead and manage all things HR and hiring.
In this on-site full-time role (8am5pm) youll be a key part of our leadership teamresponsible for building our people processes from the ground up. From recruitment and onboarding to audits compliance and employee engagement youll be involved in every stage of the employee journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants real ownership thrives in a small business and enjoys having a visible strategic and hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all recruitment activity: writing job ads sourcing candidates interviewing and onboarding.
Manage HR administration: employee records contracts policies and systems.
Develop and deliver a scalable talent strategy to support company growth.
Support managers with performance development and employee relations.
Ensure legal compliance and take full ownership of HR and recruitment audits.
Maintain and improve internal HR processes to ensure efficiency and consistency.
Contribute to leadership discussions and culture initiatives.
What Were Looking For:
Strong hands-on experience in HR and recruitment ideally in a small business environment.
Solid understanding of UK employment law HR best practice and audit requirements.
Experience managing or supporting external HR or recruitment audits.
Someone who is proactive approachable organised and confident working independently.
Must be able to commute daily to our Burgess Hill office 8am5pm.
