Job Description
This person will work in collaboration with the Iglesia del Pueblo (IdP) Pastor to move forward the mission of God through IdP by providing support to the areas of practical ministry hospitality and missional communities supporting the Purpose Mission and Values of Wheaton Bible Church of seeing people Love God Love One Another Love our Neighbors and Love the Nations.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate teams and volunteers involved in hospitality welcoming care and visitation. Assist in the logistics and scheduling of ministry activities and ensure smooth execution in collaboration with ministry leaders.
- Coordinate and provide support to IdP Life Groups keeping track of attendance and logistics and reporting needs of the IdP pastoral team.
- Provide encouragement and practical support to IdP congregation members. Assist in organizing opportunities for care connection and support of the congregations needs.
- Coordinate scheduling materials and logistics for training sessions for individuals or teams preparing for GO-Teams or Local mission opportunities. Help connect congregation members with short-term and long-term mission opportunities.
- Assist in identifying service opportunities and help cultivate relationships with outside organizations and partners that align with the churchs mission.
- Participate in churchwide projects Big 8 events like Easter Christmas and Missions Fest and contribute to the smooth operation of ministry efforts as part of the broader staff team.
- Be committed to holiness and developing your personal walk with God to model and lead others in their faith and in making disciples.
- Be committed to prayer and the Word.

- A strong commitment to collaborative ministry and team support.
- Experience serving or working in a multi-ethnic multi-generational church setting.
- Excellent organizational communication and coordination skills.
- A heart for service and a deep commitment to the IdP and WBC church community.
- At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role and environment.
- Degree or experience in Bible Ministry or related field.
- Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency
- Passion for and experience in multi-ethnic ministry that engages the Great Commission.
- Passion to serve help and connect people to Jesus and then into church community.
- Proven organizational and administrative skills
- Alignment with and commitment to assisting the ministries of the church in fulfilling WBCs mission vision and values.
- Acceptance and agreement with WBC Statement of Doctrine and Faith and WBC Statement of Christian Lifestyle.
- Become an active member and participant in the life of WBC.
