Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Electrical Panels

Location:Bucuresti
Department: Engineering / Electrical
Reports to: Engineering Manager / Technical Director

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a focus on the design assembly and testing of electrical panels. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working with low and medium-voltage power distribution panels demonstrate strong technical know-how and be comfortable with both schematic design and hands-on implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical panels (power distribution control MCCs) according to project requirements and industry standards.

  • Create and interpret electrical schematics and layout drawings using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical EPLAN).

  • Select components (circuit breakers contactors PLCs relays etc.) and prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).

  • Oversee or perform panel wiring assembly and internal configuration ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards.

  • Perform functional testing troubleshooting and final inspection before delivery or installation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure project objectives are met on time.

  • Provide technical support during commissioning phases on-site if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • 35 years of experience in designing and building electrical panels.

  • Solid understanding of electrical systems industrial components and wiring techniques.

  • Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g. IEC UL ISO) and electrical safety codes.

  • Proficient in using CAD tools for schematic and layout creation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
