About the job
Based inMonza Italy you will join ourAutomation Development team responsible for designing advanced control systems and IoT solutions for Alfa Lavals core products and customized this role you will be involved in the electrical design and maintenance of automation systems contributing to high-quality safe and efficient solutions.
Your main tasks will include:
- Reviewing customer automation inputs and project specifications
- Estimating budget hours based on scope
- Performing LV electrical design calculations
- Participating in peer reviews and quality processes
- Coordinating design activity planning
- Collaborating across sites within our Device Competence Space
What you know
- Degree inElectrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- Proficiency inelectrical design toolssuch asePlan P8or similar
- Knowledge of standards:EN60204-1UL508aEN 60079-1
- Experience withmarine approvals verification and documentation
- Familiarity withprototype/MVP design approaches
- Expertise insafety calculationsandLV design
- Experience withATEXand hazardous area electrical design (Zone 1 & 2)
- Strong skills inelectrical engineering drawings
- Background inproject workandproduct development
- Project management experience is a plus
- Fluent inwritten and spoken English
