Job Description
Job Title: Property Maintenance Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tupelo MS. This role is best suited for someone with a strong background in residential or apartment maintenance and a proven record of steady employment. While HVAC certification is not required candidates with basic HVAC knowledge will be strongly considered. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a solid skill set a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs in plumbing electrical carpentry drywall and painting
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency issues
Conduct regular property inspections and perform preventative maintenance
Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of exterior property areas including light landscaping and structural upkeep
Communicate effectively with property managers and tenants to ensure maintenance needs are addressed
Keep tools equipment and workspaces safe and organized
Accurately log all work completed and materials used
Follow all safety standards and building codes
Perform other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on property maintenance experience (required)
Prior experience working in apartment complexes or residential homes (required)
Basic understanding of HVAC systems is a plus
Strong work ethic with a reliable and stable employment history
Ability to work independently multitask and resolve issues effectively
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to lift 50 lbs and safely operate ladders hand tools and power tools
Valid driver s license and dependable transportation
Must be able to commute to Tupelo MS 38801 (Required)
Must be willing to relocate to Tupelo MS 38801 before starting work (Required)
