As the APM 1 youll be at the heart of shaping how our parks and recreation services are delivered across the community. This isnt just about spreadsheetsits about strategy. Youll help design and implement the financial and operational roadmap that guides our departments long-term impact.

  • Team Development: As a supervisor youll lead and mentor the Office Assistant 2 team building career pathways and helping team members grow through training meaningful assignments and coaching.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: From budgeting and HR to policy development and interdepartmental partnerships youll be a connector and collaboratorworking closely with Administrative Services and Parks Division staff alike.

Key Projects Youll Support:

  • Development of the biennial and supplemental budgets
  • Annual revision of the Park Fee Ordinance
  • Department-wide hiring plan
  • Policies procedures and process

We provide recreation programs and infrastructure in active and passive parks and trails. The department consists of three divisions: Parks and Recreation Administration and Resource Stewardship.
