About the Internship
Are you a strong writer with a passion for storytelling learning and travel Interested in a career in marketing or communications after graduation Curious what its like to work for a nonprofit Join the Communications team at Road Scholar a nonprofit leader in educational travel for older adults for a fall internship and gain hands-on experience writing compelling content for blogs emails catalogs and more.
Youll collaborate with a creative team of writers and designers learn how to shape a consistent brand voice and build a portfolio of published work that includes both print and electronic materials. Early on youll explore a range of writing projects. Then with support from our team youll focus on 12 key areas to develop deeper skills in that medium. By the end of your internship youll have several polished pieces for your portfolio and a better sense of what kind of writing you love most.

Internship Details
This 14-16 week internship runs during the fall semester between September 2025 and December 2025 with some flexibility depending on your school schedule. The internship is remote 20 hours/week with flexible weekly schedule during business hours. A flat stipend of $3840.00 is paid for this internship. The stipend is paid at 50% halfway through the internship and the other 50% after successful completion of the internship. College credit where applicable.
