About the role

Our client is looking for a Structural Engineering Intern who canassist in the design and analysis of structures using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD Revit or similar tools

Roles and Responsibilities

Conducting structural calculations and analyses to ensure that structures meet safety and design standards.
Creating and reviewing technical drawings specifications and construction documents.
Performing site inspections and field measurements to assess existing structures and identify potential issues or problems.
Assisting in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.
Collaborating with other team members including architects contractors and other engineers to develop innovative solutions to complex design challenges.
Keeping up to date with industry standards codes and regulations related to structural engineering.
Communicating effectively with clients stakeholders and project team members to ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget.
Conducting research to inform design decisions and support the development of new structural engineering techniques.
Participating in professional development activities such as attending conferences or workshops to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

Must be at a senior enrolled full-time in a bachelors degree program majoringin Structural Engineering Civil Engineeringand other related fields.
Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
