Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Guarding Field Supervisor to join our team. In this position you will report to the District Manager and supervise guarding operations at multiple sites. Performs inspections and ensures that post orders are being followed. Coaches and trains personnel. Carries out administrative procedures as required by District. Responds to incidents and may provide service coverage as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise guards as assigned; ensure that personnel deliver high quality service and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner.
- Perform access control provision duties verify visitors coming on-site.
- Stand down at sites when required to ensure proper coverage of the site.
- Contact guards to cover shifts and schedule staff when needed.
- Perform routine foot patrols both exterior and interior.
- Perform site inspections and site audit of guards.
- Provide up to date schedules to management and schedule last minute books offs.
- Drive company vehicle to various client sites within the National Capital Region.
- Provide direct support to security guards when faced with an emergency trespasser or breach.
- Maintain company vehicle and report any irregularities to management.
- Complete daily reports during and after shift.
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Ontario Security License.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- 2 years of mobile site or field security supervisor experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Availability to work night shifts including weekends.
- Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
- Comfortable travelling long distances.
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong customer service and results orientation.
