About the Role
The Vehicle Conversions Supervisor will be responsible for the comprehensive integration and stringent control of engineering practices pertaining to all vehicle modifications and conversions. This critical role ensures that every converted vehicle adheres to stringent engineering standards uncompromising quality requirements and critical global regulatory compliance including specifically ECE (Economic Commission for Europe) and ADR (Australian Design Rules) guidelines.
You will lead the technical lifecycle of conversion projects from initial design analysis and engineering validation through to final sign-off and successful program launch with a significant emphasis on managing and collaborating with third-party engineering partners and strict adherence to Fords Global Product Development System (GPDS).
This position reports directly to the Ford Performance Special Vehicle Manager and is based in Australia at our International Market Group Product Development Centre in Broadmeadows Melbourne. The role operates under a hybrid work arrangement requiring four days in the office
