About the role
An opportunityexists for an Administration Department Liaison Officer (DLO) in the Office of the Minister for Climate Change Energy the Environment and Heritage. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a greater insight into the operations of the Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Heritage (DCCEEW) at the highest level as well as understand the workings of a Ministers office and how decisions are made.
About you
The Administration DLO provides administrative support to the office of the Minister for Climate Change Energy the Environment and Heritage or a senior executive to ensure the efficient and effective operations of the office and to support the achievement of operational objectives.
You will need to use diplomacy astute judgement and strong research and analytical skills in evaluating and providing advice on potentially sensitive issues. You will have excellent communication skills.
You will keep the customer at the front of mind. Nurturing and sustaining excellent relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues across the Ministers office and DCCEEW.
