Job Summary:
Clinton High School is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Business Marketing Technology Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging instruction in business marketing and technology-related subjects to high school students. This role requires a passion for preparing students for future careers and higher education in dynamic business and technology fields fostering entrepreneurial thinking and equipping students with essential 21st-century skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for courses such as but not limited to Introduction to Business Marketing Entrepreneurship Digital Marketing Business Communications and relevant technology applications (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite graphic design software social media platforms for business).
- Deliver dynamic and interactive instruction that incorporates real-world examples case studies simulations and hands-on projects.
- Integrate current industry trends and technologies into the curriculum to ensure student readiness for college and career.
- Foster a positive collaborative and technology-rich learning environment that encourages critical thinking problem-solving and creativity.
- Assess student learning effectively through a variety of methods and provide timely constructive feedback.
- Utilize and instruct students on relevant software and hardware essential for business and marketing technology.
- Advise and support student organizations such as FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) or DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) preparing students for competitions and leadership roles.
- Collaborate with local businesses and community organizations to create internship opportunities guest speaker events and real-world projects for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress attendance and grades.
- Participate actively in professional development departmental meetings and school-wide initiatives.
- Adhere to all Clinton Public Schools policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Education Marketing Business Administration Information Technology or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Oklahoma teaching certification in Business Marketing or Technology Education.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in business principles marketing strategies (including digital marketing) and common business software/technology.
- Experience teaching at the high school level preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
