POSITION SUMMARY

The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing contract and subcontract activity as directed by the Director of Contracts. This includes support for development of proposals negotiations award activities file maintenance administration closeout training and compliance. The role ensures all contracting activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws regulations and company policies while supporting strategic business goals mitigation of risks and maintaining positive collaborative relationships with customers and partners while managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines ensuring stakeholder expectations are managed appropriately.


The Contracts Manager will report directly to the Company Director of Contracts. The position level (Entry Mid Senior) will depend on the persons time working with contracts/subcontracts and experience. The ideal candidate must be able to independently perform management and administrative tasks as outlined below.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in an office environment consisting of offices and cubicles with low to moderate noise and bright or dim lighting. The work is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as external customers.
